When you purchase something from our site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us.  We also collect data from potential and current clients in the following ways:

a)    Website Hosting

SQUARESPACE

Our store is hosted on Squarespace, Inc. (Squarespace). They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored through Squarespace's data storage, databases, and the general Squarespace application. They store your data on secure databases protected by a firewall. 

Personal Information hosted by or through Squarespace is subject to their privacy policy,  which may or may not contain terms as protective as this Privacy Policy. By using our Site, you are agreeing to be bound by Squarespace’s privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.

Squarespace uses the services of Peer1 Hosting for their website and for Squarespace managed websites. Personal information hosted by or through Squarespace is subject to Peer1 Hosting’s privacy policy, which may or may not contain terms as protective as this privacy policy. b)    Payments

Squarespace uses third party payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Venmo) to assist it in processing your personally identifiable payment information securely. Such third-party processors’ use of your personal information is governed by their respective privacy policies which may or may not contain privacy protections as protective as this privacy policy. c)    User Content Posted to the Website

If you post comments or user content on the website, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you choose to provide there may be read, collected, or used by other users of the website, as well as other third parties. We are not responsible for the information you choose to submit in these forums. We cannot guarantee that other users have not made copies of and/or will not use such information outside of the Website. We are not responsible for information you choose to post on our website.

d) Compliance with Laws, Legal Process and Authorities

Generations Skincare LLC may disclose any of your Information to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to: (1) comply with a legal requirement or process, including, but not limited to, civil and criminal subpoenas, court orders or other compulsory disclosures; (2) enforce our Privacy Policy or Terms of Service; (3) respond to claims of a violation of the rights of third parties; (4) respond to user comments or service inquiries; (5) protect our rights, property, or safety and the rights, property and safety of our users or the public; or (6) prevent or stop any activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical, inappropriate or legally actionable. Squarespace uses analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for our Site. These tools collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including the web pages you visit, your browser add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving our Site. We may collect and use this analytics information together with your personal information and combine with session data from user visits to build a broader profile of our individual users so that we can better serve you.

Squarespace and Generations Skincare LLC process personal information in the United States of America. For your knowledge, the United States and other countries have not harmonized their privacy regulations. Because Generations Skincare LLC and Squarespace are located in the United States, we have written our Privacy Policy to satisfy United States regulations. By using our Site or providing us with uour information, you explicitly (i) acknowledge and agree that your personal information may be transferred to, and used by, entities located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction, and (ii) consent to the collection, transfer, storage and processing of your information to and in the United States and the use and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

In the event that the Site suffers a data security breach that requires us to provide you with notice, such as under applicable law, you consent to allow us to provide you with such notice by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided to us.

6)    DO NOT TRACK CONTROLS

Many web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. Squarespace currently does not respond to Do-Not-Track signals.

7)    MINOR POLICY

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using this Site, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Site. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 8)    CALIFORNIA RIGHTS

If you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.
